Your privacy on the Internet is important to SpeedLotto. As part of our operations, certain information is gathered about those who visit SpeedLotto's web site and/or who register on our Web site ("Lotto Players"). Below are explanations regarding the type of information collected, what is done with it, and how to correct or change the information. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into SpeedLotto's Official Rules which can be found by clicking on the Official Rules link on the Web site pages.

By registering through SpeedLotto or any of its partners, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy. if you do not agree with the practices described in this privacy policy, you must not register, or, if you are already registered, you must end your membership.

What Information is Collected

Required Information: As part of SpeedLotto registration process, our Players are asked to provide a name, e-mail address, postal address and phone number. We use this information to contact Players about their winnings. So it is very important that you complete the registration page with valid information. As set out in our Official Rules, the name you register with must be yours to collect the prize. We occasionally send new information about our Company and Web Site to our Players.

Optional Information: A Player may, at his or her option, voluntarily provide additional information, including personal and demographic information. Please note that you are NOT required to provide this information in order to play in SpeedLotto Sweepstakes.

Aggregate Non-Identifying Information: SpeedLotto may track and analyze non-identity and aggregate usage and statistical information from those who visit our Web Site. We monitor incoming and outgoing Web Site traffic data in part to help diagnose problems with its servers and to administer its Web Site. SpeedLotto also uses this data in part to assemble broad demographic information about its Players and visitors in general. A purpose of this data collection is to provide that SpeedLotto Players and visitors receive relevant, targeted offers and information from SpeedLotto and its Partners.

E-mail Communications: SpeedLotto uses emailing system as a way for clients, potential clients and Players to communicate with us. SpeedLotto collects and store your emails and messages in order to establish and maintain relationships with clients, potential clients and Players and also for future reference or use. We also using emails to allow you to contact SpeedLotto with questions or comments you may have. SpeedLotto welcomes these e-mail communications and makes efforts to respond to these communications where appropriate.

Information From Third Parties: In addition to the information provided by Players, SpeedLotto may also collect information about our Players and Award Winners from third-party sources.

Use of Information

SpeedLotto uses information to deliver the SpeedLotto services. Thus, Player Information is used by SpeedLotto in identifying information that may be of interest to its Players. A Player's e-mail address will be used by SpeedLotto to monitor, interpret, analyze and report Sweepstakes results. SpeedLotto does not use Player information for purposes unrelated to the services offered by SpeedLotto. Every time you play, we will send you an e-mail message containing the winning numbers, the numbers you chose and whether or not you won a prize. Additionally, other administrative e-mails are occasionally sent to our Players and Award Winners as play reminders or to keep them aware of additional game offerings, features, and prizes. All administrative emails are primarily informational in nature.

Players may opt-in to receive promotional emails from SpeedLotto, and its marketing partners. Players may, at any time, choose not to receive promotional e-mails from SpeedLotto by sending a request to our email in the website. SpeedLotto will respond to a request made pursuant to these methods as promptly as practicable. SpeedLotto may at any time contact Players for the purpose of communicating important information about SpeedLotto or the Web Site to Players and Award Winners.

In an attempt to customize the SpeedLotto service and provide Players with the information they may be most interested in, SpeedLotto also conducts internal research on its Players' demographics, interests and behavior based upon information Players provide directly to SpeedLotto and information that SpeedLotto may collect from third-party sources and/or through the use of "cookies" (see below).

As discussed above, SpeedLotto may, from time-to-time, obtain information about its Players and Award Winners from third-party sources. In addition, SpeedLotto may, from time-to-time, assist third parties in developing, implementing and monitoring advertising campaigns using data owned or supplied by the third party. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not cover the conduct or practices of these third-party sources. However, SpeedLotto will treat information that it receives from third-party sources according to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Please be aware that this site contains links to other sites. SpeedLotto is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statement of other sites you visit.

Confidentiality

SpeedLotto will not provide personally identifiable information of a SpeedLotto Player or Award Winner to third parties except as noted under "Limits of Confidentiality." Personally identifiable information means the Award Winner or Player's name, residence address, e-mail address, telephone number or other information from which the Award Winner or Player's identity may be reasonably ascertained. SpeedLotto uses proprietary technologies to preserve the anonymity of Players and Award Winners while matching their interests with targeted information sent via e-mail.

All SpeedLotto employees are required to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy provides that employees are obligated to keep Player and Award Winner information confidential. This obligation continues once an employee has left our Company.


Limits of Confidentiality

As part of its day-to-day business activities, SpeedLotto may disclose certain information about our Players and Award Winners to certain third parties. Below is the information and circumstances under which SpeedLotto may disclose information to third parties.

Partners: When a SpeedLotto Player registers for our games from our site or partners, SpeedLotto is obligated to disclose to that particular Partner the information submitted by the SpeedLotto Player during the process. In addition to the foregoing information, SpeedLotto may also disclose aggregate level information to the Partner about SpeedLotto Players who registered through that particular Partner's site. Such aggregate information may include, for example, the number of individuals who registered through the Partner's site; the turnover rate of SpeedLotto Players who have registered through the Partner's site; with respect to any particular marketing campaign, the response rates of the SpeedLotto Players who registered through the Partner's site; and statistics on the interest categories selected by the SpeedLotto Players who have registered through the Partner's site.

Marketers: SpeedLotto will disclose aggregate level information about SpeedLotto Players and Award Winners to marketers as reasonably necessary to explain the services that SpeedLotto can offer, to report on the advertising campaigns that SpeedLotto undertakes for any particular marketer, and/or to implement and explain campaign strategies.

Service Providers: From time-to-time we contract with outside third parties to perform specific services in support of our products and services. We may disclose protected Player and Award Winner information to such third parties. We will use reasonable efforts to see that these third parties agree in writing to safeguard any SpeedLotto Player or Award Winner information that is protected by this Privacy Policy in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Legally Required Disclosures: Due to the existing legal, regulatory and security environment, SpeedLotto may be required, under certain circumstances, to disclose aggregate level and/or personally identifiable information about our Players or Award Winners. SpeedLotto will use its best reasonable efforts to limit such disclosure to the following: where SpeedLotto believes in good faith that it is required to do so in response to a subpoena, warrant or other legal process; where reasonably required to do so in order to maintain, update or otherwise implement SpeedLotto's data security measures, equipment, technical operations and the like; or where reasonably necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities to preserve and/or enforce SpeedLotto's rights. Further, we can, and you authorize us to, disclose your Player identification, name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, e-mail, and company to third party agents or SpeedLotto as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy or other unlawful activity or activity that may expose us to legal liability.

Winners: As set out in SpeedLotto's Official Rules, each potential winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability and publicity, including, but not limited to, the use of winner's name, hometown and photograph without additional compensation (where lawful) which must be signed, notarized and returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt, or the prize will be forfeited and the potential winner will be disqualified. Each winner's name, city and state of residence may be shown on the SpeedLotto Web Site within thirty (30) days after each day's drawing and on SpeedLotto's list of winners, which will include each winner's name, city and state, the value of the prize won, and the dates upon which the prize was won and delivered to all such winners during the previous ninety (90) days. Except as provided in this section (4) and subject to the exceptions in sections (3) and (2) above, SpeedLotto will not provide any other personally identifiable information about winners.

The Use of Cookies

As an important and necessary part of providing customizable and personalized services to our Players and Award Winners, SpeedLotto does link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer hard drive. Cookies are used to help SpeedLotto track the response to messages sent to Players and Award Winners on behalf of marketers so that SpeedLotto can monitor and report campaign results to the marketer and track response history. In addition, banner advertisements are displayed on our Web Site which may contain cookies. While SpeedLotto uses cookies in other parts of our Web Site, the cookies received with banner ads are collected by our advertising partners, and SpeedLotto does not have access to this information. With respect to cookies, you have a choice. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies, you will be unable to use some SpeedLotto services that require the use of cookies in order to participate.

Reviewing or Modifying Player Information or Ending Membership

SpeedLotto Players may choose at any time to review, change or update, information stored by SpeedLotto about that Player by sending us an email messages. To inactivate their account, a SpeedLotto Player can send us an email with subject "UNSUBSCRIBED"  to unsubscribe from special offers from our partners, and send us an email to unsubscribe from SpeedLotto messages. 

Policy Changes

The foregoing policy is last updated on 30/01/2007. SpeedLotto reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of SpeedLotto's services following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our homepage.
